Welcome to the Clayton Dabney for Kids with Cancer (CDF) Web site. We invite you to look around our site to learn more about Clayton, the mission of the Foundation, case histories of children and their families we have helped, how we accept referrals of children, and how you can help us in our mission to create everlasting memories.
Clayton Dabney was a very special and courageous little boy who, at the age of six, lost his battle with cancer. Clayton’s unique spirit and legacy lives on, however, through the Foundation and the dedicated efforts of many volunteers who generously donate their time and money to further our cause to help needy families who struggle with the effects of a child dying from cancer.
Medicine of the Heart, our primary outreach program, has helped over 3,200 families and distributed over $4 million in last wishes, gifts and financial assistance to terminally ill children and their needy families across the United States. As a non-profit, charitable organization, we depend solely on the community for funding and hope you will find a way to help us continue our mission.
Cancer is a devastating disease that strikes children indiscriminately, leaving families emotionally and financially exhausted. The Clayton Dabney Foundation can help ease these burdens and help provide much needed life-long memories. For when it is all said and done, that is all there is… memories.
Clayton Dabney for Kids with Cancer provides needy families, with children in the last stages of terminal cancer, assistance in creating everlasting memories by providing last wishes, gifts, special events, family travel and financial assistance with household expenses. Our assistance is arranged through the parents and is anonymous to the child.
